The first of two special briefings on the new Federal Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, hosted by the Housing Alliance on September 11, was a success. The event sold out and the presentations were very informative. For those of you who missed it, but still want to learn more about the opportunities for Pennsylvania created by this new law, we have some great materials available for download.

The follow-up session, scheduled for October 6 in Harrisburg, will focus on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Equity Market Implications of the new law for Pennsylvania.
Brian Hudson will talk about PHFA’s perspective and Ed Geiger from DCED will give an update on the Neighborhood Stabilization Funding. This briefing will also feature an interactive presentation of PA tax credit experts.
