Citizen Action Network

The goal of the Citizen Action Network, or CAN, is to strengthen the voice of individuals concerned about housing in Pennsylvania.  It's a way for people who care about affordable homes to work together, increase their advocacy skills and bring about effective change.

If you're concerned about the lack of affordable homes in your community and want to do something about it, CAN can help.  If you live in subsidized housing, have ever been forced to reside in a shelter, or are a homeowner struggling to maintain your home, your voice matters, and CAN can help make sure your voice is heard.

Why Join CAN?

  • Information: Receive updates on critical housing issues and legislation, as well as useful resources and research on affordable housing in Pennsylvania.
  • Action: Participate in legislative visits and other advocacy efforsts with Housing Alliance staff and fellow CAN members.
