Community Partnerships RC&D will host a "Show Me the Money" grant workshop in Shamokin Dam (near Selinsgrove) from Monday, September 20 to Friday, September 24, 2010. The weeklong class will be held in the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce in Shamokin Dam.

The class was scheduled for September based on continuing requests. It is important to register early as spaces are quickly filled. Each year, aspiring grant writers go on to successfully obtain a grant after attending the workshop.

The cost for the entire workshop is $535 with early registration. Early registration must be submitted no later than Friday, September 3, 2010. After that date, registration is $585.

Larry Schardt, PhD, will facilitate the course. He is a Federal Coordinator for the Natural Resources Conservation Service and a Penn State University professor with 20 years of experience in grant writing. Sam Price, Executive Director of Community Partnerships Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council and Natural Resources Specialist Kevin Morgan will also assist with the course.

Community Partnerships RC&D is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life of local residents through programs in economic improvement, arts and culture and environmental responsibility.
